Despite at least 3 technical glitches now that threw off the release date significantly, all is coming together swimmingly <3 We released a mini Purple issue (9.5) on the 24th of April to provide a boon during the waiting game, imposed by a print-shop with a broken scanner that was necessary to the remainder of the layout process (didn’t help either that some of the illustrators we pitched didn’t end up taking part of it or have certain illustrations we ordered available by the time committed, but everything has it’s reason- no love lost…).

Emphasis on the word was, as from the 15th of April to current, we’ve heard nothing from the printshop about the scanner, and have gone ahead and invested in the tools we need that broke down in the winter months, now that coinage has replenished enough to accomodate it * _ ^

At this juncture we’re awaiting the delivery of the image-digitizing tool (should be here by Thursday tops& we work fast on this end when we have needed tools…) that once in hand, will allow us to to release the first installment (the 1st installment text/image placements’ already laid out in its entirety with author bios and the secret boon pages we’ve cryptically alluded to, but hi-res images need to be tweaked and etc for maximum presentation before we’re comfortable releasing it).

Rather than have you wait any longer, we’ve decided to release the 1st installment in parts, so you can enjoy several stories and boons by at least May 10. After the 1st part releases, the rest will release in 1 or 2 more parts between May and June).

We’ll be accepting submissions for the second installment (an UbatiMweze group-myth focused installment-details forthcoming). You can submit to Mythseed now if you don’t wish to wait. Some Mythseed posts will be accepted for the Anthology dependent upon appropriacy for the antho’s theme/feel, and space available.

The platform for the installments will be our Issuu space, where readers can read online, before the print versions are released (with full profits going to the Eastern-Motherland diasporic aid group(s), the contributors agree upon once the full digital installment releases).
